CZ 75SP-01 Shadow - Adjustable Rear Sight

The adjustable rear sight is determined for self-loading pistols CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow / Shadow 2. It is necessary use with front sight 7,5 or 8mm. To use original front sight is impossible.

This adjustable rear sight is attached without any other firearm slide adaptation and meet IPSC Production division requirements.

The assembly:

First of all take out the slide from firearm. Take out the recoil spring with guide rod and the barrel. We can recommend to take out the extractor, to prevent its damage by the slide clamping. Then it is necessery to push out the extractor pin. Attentionm the extractor pin can be pushed out from the upper side of the slide. Clamp the lateral walls of the slide. For clamping process please use a paper or leather plate to prevent any slide damage.

The sight assembly:

Release the screw in original sight, use the 1,5mm wrench. Carefully take the sight out (with using the plastic or wood bar) from the dovetail groove of the slide. Check the bottom side of the adjustable sight and be sure, that the screw of vertical adjusting is not overhanged out of the adjustable sight. Carefully bump the adjustable sight inside the dovetail groove of the slide. Use the plastic or wood bar to prevent any sight damage. The sight plate must not be damaged.

The front sight assembly:

Take out the connecting plug of the front sightwith usingthe piercer. Take out the original front sight. Bump the new front sight with using the plastic or wood bar. The front sight must not be damaged, especially its luminary fiber. Be sure that the barrel bushing is in the original position. It must not be moved inside the slide. Then with using the diameter of 2mm drill redrill original hole. Then you can carefully to bump the connecting plug of the front sight. Then the firearm put together.

The adjustable sight adjustment:

The adjustment of the adjustable rear sight is executed with the screw of vertical control and lateral control. By 25m of target distance, one click rotation of screw moves the target hit point of 13mm.

Left rotation (counterclockwise) of the vertical control screw causes the movement of hit point upward.

Right rotation (clockwise) of the lateral control screw causes the movement of hit point right.
