The Patriot Defense Tanfoglio Optimized Hammer Spring was engineered from the ground up to work in your Current EAA Witness and Tanfoglio pistol which use a short hammer spring (about 1.25″ long); which is mounted transversely in the frame and does not extend down the back strap. These are precision made from premium grade music wire offering extended life and quality control from the factory springs that are supplied with the guns. The Tanfoglio Optimized Hammer Springs offer a smaller OD and lighter spring rate than other hammer springs on the market, decreasing the felt stacking feeling notorious with other springs. Currently offered in 10lb, 12lb, 13lb, 14lb, and 15.5lb with easy to identify color coding.
