The OMEGA trigger mechanism, based on the simplified design principles of the legendary CZ 75, paved the way for a new generation of high-capacity SA/DA pistols featuring an external hammer and a fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame, suitable for both service use and sport shooting.

This development led to the introduction of two closely related models: the CZ P-07 (Compact) and the CZ P-09 (Full Size), chambered in 9 mm Luger. These pistols rank among the leading handguns in their category on the global market. They outperform competing models, particularly thanks to their exceptionally smooth trigger pull and low trigger weight in both single-action and double-action modes. Combined with excellent ergonomics and high-quality cold hammer-forged barrels, they deliver outstanding accuracy.

A unique advantage is the ability for users to easily convert the manual safety into a decocker and vice versa, while maintaining fully ambidextrous controls.

The CZ P-07 and CZ P-09 feature a durable fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame, highly resistant to mechanical stress and temperature variations. They also include a standard accessory rail and an enlarged trigger guard, allowing for comfortable use while wearing gloves.

The grip size can be easily adjusted using three interchangeable backstraps, ensuring a customized fit for every user. Special attention has been given to the surface treatment of metal components, providing excellent resistance to wear, mechanical damage, and corrosion.
