The key new feature is a heavy polished “bull" barrel, which will be especially appreciated by the most demanding shooters. It shoots better, smoother and faster. It comes with higher positioned manual safeties, while adhering to the mandatory IPSC Standard division dimensions."

• Polished heavy barrel: Its key feature, which is in line with the current trends in practical sport shooting, is a heavy polished “Bull” barrel, which comes with many advantages that include higher accuracy, better control (even during very quick, repetitive shots) and a significantly longer service life.
• Redesigned slide: Easy and reliable cocking is enhanced by redesigned cocking serrations on the front part of both sides of the slide and, for the first time in the history of CZ pistols, are complemented by cocking serrations on the top edge of the slide.
• Modified recoil spring guide: A new design of the recoil spring guide eliminates lateral movement during firing, thus extending the service life of the rubber buffer. An added bonus is easier disassembly of the firearm.
• New front sight: The fiber optic front sight features a new screw attachment system that mounts in a longitudinal groove on the top of the slide, allowing for much easier replacement. 
• Hand-fitted: The barrel-to-slide and slide-to-frame are hand-fitted to achieve the tightest tolerances, while maintaining extreme reliability with all types of cartridges.
• New thumb rest: An all new thumb rest, whose shape was designed in cooperation with members of the CZ Shooting Team, is mounted on the left side of the frame. 
• Reduced height of magazine release: The height of the magazine release button has been shortened by 2 mm to prevent it from digging into the shooter’s palm and significantly reduce the chance of inadvertent activation, while still maintaining impressively fast reload speeds.
• Elevated safeties:The elevated, ambidextrous manual safeties have been designed to allow the pistol to easily fit within the IPSC Standard division box (225×150×45 mm), while maintaining quick and reliable operation. The safeties can also serve as thumb rests.
• Orange duralumin components: The flat grips, adjustable magazine release, magwell and magazine base plate are made of orange anodized duralumin. Orange is the color that’s traditionally reserved for the highest quality products in the CZ range.
